Alabama, Alaska, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Wyoming

Senator Kerry has 54 solid electoral votes.
President Bush has 172 solid electoral votes.
